L-Asparaginase API

  • L-Asparaginase is an enzyme with far reaching practical uses in the field of oncology. We manufacture L-Asparaginase bulk Lyophilized powder that contains the enzyme L-Asparagine amidohydrolase type EC-2, derived from E.coli. L-Asparaginase activity is expressed in terms of International Units according to the recommendation of the International Union of Biochemistry. One International Unit of asparaginase is defined as that amount of enzyme required to generate 1 μmol of ammonia per minute at pH 7.3 and 37°C.

    L-Asparaginase from LOKA

Is indicated as a component of a multi agent chemotherapeutic regimen for the treatment of patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL)

Is manufactured at a capacity of 2000 Mega units per month

Has a specific activity of at least 250 International units per milligram of protein

Comes as ready to fill liquid in Mega Units Qty.

Is manufactured at a capacity of 100 Mega Units per month

Is supplied at a minimum order of 200 vials (0.75 Mega Units)

PEG-L-Asparaginase API

  • PEG-L-Asparaginase (Biosimilar of Oncaspar) is an L-asparagine amidohydrolase that is covalently conjugated to monomethoxypolyethylene glycol (mPEG). L-asparaginase is a tetrameric enzyme that is produced endogenously by E. coli and consists of identical 34.5 kDa subunits. Approximately 69 to 82 molecules of mPEG are linked to L-asparaginase; the molecular weight of each mPEG molecule is about 5 kDa. PEG-L-Asparaginase activity is expressed in International Units. One International Unit of L-asparaginase is defined as the amount of enzyme required to generate 1 micromole of ammonia per minute at pH 7.3 and 37°C.

Erwinaze API

  • ERWINAZE (asparaginase Erwinia chrysanthemi) Bulk lyophilized powder contains an asparagine specific enzyme derived from Erwinia chrysanthemi. L-asparaginase is a tetrameric enzyme consisting of four identical subunits, each having a molecular weight of about 35 kDa. The activity of ERWINAZE is expressed in terms of International Units.

    ERWINAZE from LOKA

Is indicated as a component of a multi-agent chemotherapeutic regimen for the treatment of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) who have developed hypersensitivity to E. coli-derived asparaginase.

Is supplied as bulk white Lyophilized powder.

IS manufactured at a capacity of 1000 Mega Units per month

Is supplied at a minimum order of 5 Mega Units.
